Welcome to Into
Action Recovery
Centers

Into Action’s intensive outpatient services provide effective, compassionate support for patients who do not require inpatient treatment programs or could benefit from continuing treatment as they transition from inpatient programs. Many clients with early to middle-stage drug or alcohol dependency who have a strong support network and home environment are good candidates for outpatient treatment.

Into Action’s outpatient treatment programs are designed to treat different addictions, including opiates, heroin, cocaine, club drugs, prescription drugs, and alcohol. Our program offers ongoing counseling sessions, treatment, and resources to support you as you work to overcome your addiction and meet the challenges of living sober.

At Into Action Recovery Centers, you will work with our licensed professionals and participate in individual and group counseling, 12-step immersion, family therapy, and mindfulness training.

What is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for drug rehab?

Intensive Outpatient Programs are recovery programs for those with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions where clients attend therapy sessions several hours a day, 3 to 5 days a week, while they are living at home or in a sober environment.

How does IOP differ from inpatient rehab?

While IOP allows clients to live at home and maintain work or school commitments, inpatient rehab requires living at a recovery center 24/7. IOP is less intensive but is still a robust recovery process, providing therapy and support for those already living in stable living situations conducive to practicing and maintaining sobriety.

Who is a good candidate for IOP at Into Action Recovery?

A good candidate for IOP level of care is those with mild to moderate substance use disorders who have a supportive home environment and the motivation for sobriety. It is also a step for those transitioning from inpatient care or needing more structure than standard outpatient programs.

What types of therapies are offered in Into Action Recovery’s IOP?

Some of the most common therapies you can expect in IOP include:

Some recovery centers may also offer family therapy and various holistic approaches, such as meditation, mindfulness, yoga, art, and equine therapy.

How long does an IOP typically last?

IOPs generally last 2-3 months, with sessions lasting 2-5 hours per day, 3-5 days a week. The exact duration depends on individual progress and needs, and some continue in aftercare for ongoing support.

Does Into Action Recovery’s IOP treat co-occurring mental health disorders?

Into Action Recovery offers dual diagnosis treatment for clients with substance use disorders who also have accompanying mental health issues. Conditions may include anxiety or depression. Therapies and treatment modalities will account for both the addiction as well as the mental processes associated with it and mental health disorders.

Can I work or go to school while attending IOP?

Yes, because of IOP’s flexibility, you have the freedom to maintain educational responsibilities while participating in the recovery program. Therapy sessions are typically in the evenings or during the weekends, accommodating work or school.

What happens if I relapse during IOP?

Remember: relapse is not failure; it’s a chance to adjust the treatment plan.

We assess every situation case by case, offer additional support, and, if needed, recommend a higher level of care, such as our residential program.

How does Into Action Recovery support long-term sobriety after IOP?

Our aftercare programs, such as support groups, 12-step meetings, or ongoing counseling, help provide an ongoing environment and community that promotes lasting sobriety.
