Into Action’s outpatient treatment programs are designed to treat different addictions, including opiates, heroin, cocaine, club drugs, prescription drugs, and alcohol. What is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for drug rehab?
Intensive Outpatient Programs are recovery programs for those with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions where clients attend therapy sessions several hours a day, 3 to 5 days a week, while they are living at home or in a sober environment.
How does IOP differ from inpatient rehab?
While IOP allows clients to live at home and maintain work or school commitments, inpatient rehab requires living at a recovery center 24/7. IOP is less intensive but is still a robust recovery process, providing therapy and support for those already living in stable living situations conducive to practicing and maintaining sobriety.
Who is a good candidate for IOP at Into Action Recovery?
