What’s the Difference Between Residential and Outpatient Care?

Residential and outpatient rehab are the two primary levels of care for addiction treatment.

Residential care requires the patient to live on-site at the facility for the duration of their treatment.

Outpatient care allows patients to live at home and commute to the facility for treatment rather than stay on-site.

The best choice for each patient will depend on the severity of their addiction and their personal situation. We also offer a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for patients who have completed a residential recovery program and are ready to transition into an outpatient setting gradually.

What is a Medical Detox?

Medical detox is when a patient undergoes detoxification from substances with medical supervision.

Stopping the use of drugs or alcohol after the body has developed a dependency on them can cause uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms.

The on-site medical detox ensures that the patient is safe and doesn’t relapse during the detox process.

In some cases, our doctors may prescribe medication to suppress withdrawal symptoms and make the overall process easier.

What Types of Substance Addictions Do You Treat?

Our team is dedicated to helping as many people as possible who suffer from substance abuse and addiction.

To maintain this goal, we have developed programs for the treatment of the following substances:

Alcohol Addiction
Opioid Addiction
Meth Addiction

Our programs include:

-Family therapy

How Long Does Addiction Treatment Take?

How long treatment takes is different depending on the individual and various factors, including:

-Addiction severity
-Substance type (e.g., alcohol, opioids, or prescription drugs)
-Personal progress

Medical detox can take 5–10 days, while residential programs typically range from 30–90 days.

Outpatient care or partial hospitalization programs (PHP) can last weeks or even months. We create customized treatment plans to ensure you get the exact treatment you need for lasting sobriety.

What Role Does Family Play in Addiction Recovery?

Family involvement, including moms and spouses, is crucial to addiction recovery. We offer family therapy that educates loved ones about addiction, improves communication, and strengthens the individual’s support system.

Families will learn how to practice setting healthy boundaries, manage expectations, and participate in their loved one’s recovery, helping contribute to their sobriety while maintaining their own well-being.

Can Addiction Treatment Address Mental Health Issues?

Yes, plenty of people with addiction also struggle with co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, or trauma.

Our dual diagnosis treatment program addresses both addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders simultaneously, making sure no stone is left unturned.

Through evidence-based therapies, counseling, and medication management, we help patients manage mental health problems and reduce the risk of relapse.

What Happens After Completing a Treatment Program?

Recovery is a lifelong journey, and that’s why we offer ongoing support to patients who graduate from our programs. Our Alumni Program connects you with ongoing support groups, sober activities, and resources to help prevent relapse and maintain sobriety.

We also provide guidance on transitioning to outpatient care or community-based programs like Al-Anon or 12-step meetings to reinforce coping skills and a strong support system.

How Can I Support a Loved One in Addiction Treatment?

Learning about addiction, providing positive encouragement for recovery, and setting healthy boundaries for yourself are all essential ways to support your loved one struggling with addiction. We also include family in our recovery programs, offering family therapy and educational resources.

The consequences of not getting treatment for addiction are serious, including:
