Sabrina Harland

Sabrina Harland is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Intern (level III) and Certified Mental Health Technician. Sabrina relocated to Houston in 2011 when she decided to take action to achieve her own long-term sobriety. Sabrina graduated from San Jacinto College in Houston, TX with an Associates of Applied Science in Mental Health Substance Abuse Counseling. Sabrina was honored with Outstanding Student of the Year Award by San Jacinto Mental Health Services Program and acknowledged for demonstrating an outstanding academic performance. Sabrina joined the Into Action team June of 2016 and is now a full-time executive director. Sabrina is skilled in Motivational Interviewing – a method that helps clients resolve ambivalent feelings and increase their internal motivation toward sobriety. Sabrina is also an advocate of client-centered therapy which empowers the client to take an active role in their treatment to achieve their goal of long-term recovery.
