Belinda Zapata is the head chef/kitchen manager at Into Action Recovery Centers. She has been with the company for two and a half years. Belinda is responsible for all kitchen operations and menu planning. Before she came to work for the company Belinda worked for a private Christian school for two years. She had the same duties and responsibilities at the school. Belinda is originally from the Rio Grande Valley, which is located at the southern tip of Texas. She moved to Houston almost twenty two years ago right after she graduated from high school in 1997. Belinda attended Houston Community College for three years and graduated in 2015 with her associate degree in Culinary Arts. She owes her love for the kitchen and everything in it to her grandmother Socorro Tamez. Belinda has over five years of culinary experience. She currently lives with her husband Nathaniel and son Lorenzo.
